benelli dijo:Hello, i have a isonic 150 (93w) and i use it with a 9.4 point7 AC-K 3 cambered sail in 10 to 16 knots wind, i use a 56cm drakeshit G10 fin, i feel it too soft, very poor lift and tons of drag…
How much costs a 53+- fin for that setup? any other size recommended? thanks!

We know this board class quite good and I personally like this class a lot. For me these XXL-Slalom boards are a good replacement for Formula boards. The XXL-SL boards are planning nearly as early as the Formulas but they make much more fun on cross wind courses (that are most times done for Free-Racing). I use a Falcon152 that is wider in the tail (~70cm ofo) but just 90cm max. width. I sail this board with a 53cm SL-P_r3 in the upper wind range (14-20knt) and with a 60cm F1_SL in lower winds (8-13knt). I am 98kg ;o)
The concept of the iS150 is a bit older but still quite competitive when being able to pump the board in the very low winds (<10knt).
The series fin that was delivered in 2009 was the worst I ever tried. As you describe, the fin was draggy, felt totally dead and nearly no vertical lift. This was/is caused by the low torsion stiffness of the glass fiber construction and the bad finished profile. The fin was delivered with the board but it would have been better if the board price would have been 50€ less with no fin delivered.
The really usable sail range for the iS150 was 8.6 to 10.8 sqm, so the 9.4 is quite in the middle.
If you want to have fun with that board over a wide wind range and do good speeds I would recommend a 55cm SL-P_r3 with 7.0° LE-rake and a super-soft base2mid and soft mid2tip section.
If you focus onto the low ind range (8-13knt) you can also go for a 56cm F_1-SL in a super-super-soft carbon layup. This fin type is based on our Formula fin F_1 but has a special layup for slalom boards.

Excelente respuesta a una de tus preguntas, pero al final, por cuánto sale una de estas aletas?
