Dear Young Guns!
Another Year almost passed by again since the last Young Guns Camp on Fuerteventura. I really hope that you progressed a lot since your last participation in a sporty and also mental way.
In 2007 quite some things will change:
Chris Pressler and Kerstin Reiger who ran the camp the last years decided to work on private projects and will only pass bye to say hello, so I will be in charge from now on. Some of you might know me from last year’s camp or maybe from some other surf spot round the globe.
For those who don’t know me, I’d like to introduce myself:
My name is Mario Inthal, I’m 26 years old and now living in Salzburg/Austria if I’m not in Cape Town or somewhere else around the world searching for wind, waves and foreign cultures.
I participated in the EFPT where I ended up 9th overall in 2004. Since then I only compete in selected contests (EFPT and PWA) and focus more on teaching kids and teenagers how to get into our fabulous sport and how to progress the best way.
Check out my profile on: http://www.sport-and-action.com/default.aspx?SIid=43&pagetype=main
The camp will more or less stay the same with the Pro Centre René Egli organizing and me being in charge for everything.
I am sure to keep up with the high level of tuition and all around service provided over the last years.
Since 2006 all participants and coaches are staying in the ****Esmeralda Maris Apartment Hotel where accommodation and meals made everybody happy.

We are doing Freestyle-, Slalom- and Speed Clinics besides a contest running all camp long, photo shoots, video tuition and – analyses, DVD evenings and BBQs on the beach.
I’m trying to get Salvador Martínez Llobet alias "Boro" from Mallorca (who you might know as one of the guys behind http://www.totalwind.net) onto the team, to support us with his sunny spanish temperament.
Also Tine Slabe SLO6 (who most of you might know (check: http://www.tineslabe.com) might come onto the team, and fire you up with his talent for all disciplines.
This year the number of participants is limited to 24 and we are only doing 1 camp before the PWA World Cup from the 30th of June until the 20th of July.
