Pues parece que Angulo vuelve a renovar sus tablas para 2013, lo que mas me ha llamado la atención es que la Victory ha pasado de ser una quad a una Twin con opción a Single.
La verdad es que un poco mas bonitas que las del 2011 si que son
, aunque han perdido personalidad respecto a las anteriores, me encantaban la Criolla y la Sumo.
Yo solo he provado la Chango de 101 y una CV1 y la verdad es que me han gustado muchisimo, la CV1 mucho mas ligera y juguetona de lo que parecia por sus medidas. No se por que no las vemos demasiado por aqui.
Les pregunté el porque del cambio de la Victory y esto es lo que me respondio:
“The quad setup was a little to slow for our liking, board need to be alive and plane. This should be the main criteria. With the new outline the Victory has all the grip you would need without having the drag of the quad set-up. The Victory in the twin mode turns super easy and allows you to have a lot of drive on the wave while also having speed. The twin setup makes the board a little easier to ride and control at speed, so easier when lining up some jumps.
Then there is also the opportunity to use this board as single fin, this will allow the board to have more drive, better upwind ability and lift. This does make the board just a little stiffer in the turns but with more drive. It still turns extremely well.
It just makes the board more versatile while still being extremely radical."
Buena explicación. Pero la verdad es que como mínimo, a nivel de marqueting parece curioso el cambio de quad a twin, y mas darle la opción de single. Se ven pocas twin + single.
por cierto su WEB todavia no la tienen acabada... http://anguloboards.com/ pero algo se puede ver.
