INTERVIEW:

1. Welcome to Fanatic! What were your reasons to join the Fanatic team?
Fanatic has all of the elements together, great team, great shaper, great boards for every condition!

2. What do you think to be in the same team like Gollito Estredo and Victor Fernandez?
I think is really cool. I always look up to Victor and Gollito when I´m sailing, and they are good friends of mine and both rip. So will be a great chance for me to improve my sailing.

3. Did you get a chance to try any of our boards yet, if yes which ones and what do you think?
Yes, I tried the boards and I really like the NW Twin and also the Skate.

4. How are your plans? What kind of events are you doing in 2009?
I will be doing all PWA wave and freestyle events. Will try my best to improve my wave results and do good again in freestyle. Also really want to focus on improving my free sailing, pushing for new moves!

5. Which goals do you want to reach in 2009?
Have a lot of fun, try to improve my wave and freestyle results. Also learn new moves and take the sport to new levels!!!

6. What are your plans until the season starts?
Train hard!!!

Fanatic has one of the most exciting teams ever for 2009, so Brawzinho certainly will be in good company. 2 times PWA Wave Vice World Champion Victor Fernandez (E-42), the winner of the most PWA Wave events the last 2 seasons will certainly be aiming for his first title, after missing out so narrowly the last 2 years. PWA Wave 2008 third placed Jonas Ceballos (E-40) is fired up after his best ever season in 2008, we can expect some amazing performances from the King of Pozo. Our R&D chief tester and 6th overall PWA Wave Klaas Voget (G-4) also had his best season ever in 2008, plus has just finished all the R&D on the 2010 range and has been training in Chile and South Africa to be ready for 2009. Top women´s sailor Nayra Alonso (E-4) is 100% fit for the 2009 season and will be ready for the podium positions again!

Double PWA Freestyle World Champion Gollito Estredo (V-01) is looking forward to capturing his 3rd World Title, whilst top EFPT/

PWA freestyler Andre Paskowski (G-2) will be as active as always in both contests and his great video projects. Laure Treboux (SUI-4), 3rd overall in PWA Freestyle will be pushing for the top places again in 2009, supported by the rising talents of Yoli De Brendt (V-26), who is showing great progress in contest results!

In Racing, our R&D expert, Pieter Bijl (NED-0) will lead a smaller team of National riders to success, Pieter is highly motivated after last season´s travel problems, keen to show again why most riders consider him to be one of the fastest on the water.

Leaving the team in 2009 will be Cyril Moussilmani (F-71), Dan Ellis (GBR-52), Arnon Dagan (ISR-1) and Ben Proffitt (K-800). Fanatic would like to thank them for their co-operation over the last years and wishes them all the best for the future.
